Free Admission to State Parks on "Autumn Friday"

In leiu of spending your Friday in lines wrapped around the mall, Washington State Parks are urging locals to get outside and enjoy all the beauty that our region has to offer! Today, Friday 11/24, all state parks will have free access and free parking in celebration of "Autumn Day" instead of the "Black Friday" that many are accustomed.

The Olympic Penninsula is ripe with forests to explore and trails to blaze. The above image is just a quick selection of some of Kitsap County's most popular parks and hiking trails. Of course, these are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to natural areas to discover; and I encourage everyone to take some time to "opt outside" this holiday season and spend time connecting to nature this holiday season!
