Kingston

Often referred to as the northern gateway to the Olympic Peninsula, Kingston is a resort town that serves as the economic and social center of north Kitsap County. It offers a quaint Main Street with shops and pubs, and a robust Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center with excellent resources for residents and visitors alike. Favorite community events include Kites Over Kingston, Paws Fest, a Fourth of July celebration, North Kitsap Arts and Crafts Festival, and of course, a Country Christmas. Residents also enjoy the seasonal Farmers Market, which takes place at Mike Wallace Waterfront Park on Saturdays from May to mid-October.

A 30-minute ferry ride connects Kingston with Edmonds, making for a nice walk-on day of adventure in either direction. Since launching in 2019, the Kitsap Fast Ferries have become a popular solution for commuters, who can get to the heart of downtown Seattle in a short, 40 minute ride.

“Kingston anchors the western end of the Washington State Ferry Edmonds-Kingston route. It's a beautiful and scenic 30-minute ferry ride, perfect for a walk-on ferry adventure in either direction, especially during the summer. Kingston's charming main street is lined with shops, pubs with local brews and assorted restaurants.” Kingston Chamber of Commerce.

The Kingston Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center, located directly in front of the Kingston-Edmonds ferry terminal, offers travelers to the Kitsap Peninsula and beyond a wealth of information. While there, take a leisurely tour of the town and enjoy the natural beauty of Kingston and the Kitsap Peninsula.”
